Steven Contos


Steven Contos is a Senior Consultant for Polaris Solutions, a small technology based consulting firm based out of Chicago, Denver, and St. Louis. Steve has been in software development for almost thirty years, programming in various languages and operating systems. Steve has worked for startups, fortune 500 companies, and consulting firms. Steve is a firm believer in the idea that Confucius expressed, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” Throughout his career, he has lived this. In addition to loving his career as a developer he has had the opportunity to share other interests as well. He currently rides a 1982 Honda CBX Pro-Link motorcycle (now an antique vehicle) and has been riding for over 30 years. He is nationally certified with the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) and is a continuing education instructor for Harper College, where he teaches people how to ride motorcycles during the summer.
